Wisconsin is gearing up for an exciting season, with established standouts looking to build on past success and rising competitors ready to make their mark. From new skills and increased difficulty to gymnasts positioning themselves to challenge for state and regional titles, there's plenty to watch as the season unfolds. We're taking a closer look at the athletes setting the pace and the names who could make this a season to remember for Wisconsin gymnastics.

Already one of Wisconsin's most exciting all-arounders, Avery Bluhm enters the new season with plenty of momentum and even more potential. The junior, who is committed to the University of Iowa after also visiting Utah State, Nebraska, and Kentucky, is coming off an incredible season that included a sixth-place all-around finish at Nationals and a silver medal on floor. Her floor routine was particularly memorable, highlighted by a whip triple full with an almost effortless, aerodynamic quality. What makes Bluhm especially exciting heading into this season is the new difficulty she's bringing to the table. Her Van Leeuwen on bars is looking strong, while her floor upgrades include a 1.5-front full and a Rudi-layout stepout combination. On beam, she's working a back handspring-layout-layout series, and on vault, she's training a Yurchenko 1.5 into the foam pit that looks like a natural next step for her. Bluhm has a way of making difficult gymnastics look easy. Her long, elegant lines, quick twisting, effortless power, and ability to consistently find the landing give her a distinctive presence across all four events. With last season's national success behind her and upgraded skills on the horizon, she's a serious contender to challenge for more state, regional, and national titles this season.

Skye Chaseley is looking to carry last season's momentum into an even stronger junior campaign. After placing 11th in the all-around at Nationals with consistently strong scores across all four events, she's entering the new season with several upgrades that could make her an even tougher competitor. Her Yurchenko full has noticeably improved, showing quick height off the table and an impressive fully extended body position that she maintains throughout the vault. On floor, she's added a double pike that makes an exciting addition to an already strong routine. She's also upgraded her bars dismount to a double layout, while her front aerial-back handspring series on beam was a highlight last season that we're eager to see again. With proven national-level consistency and added difficulty across multiple events, Chaseley has the potential to make another big move this season and challenge Wisconsin's top competitors.

Emmy Sills is one to keep an eye on as she looks to build on a strong Level 9 season and take the next step in her gymnastics. After earning sixth place on bars at Regionals, Sills enters the new season with exciting progress and increased difficulty across her routines. Her beam was a standout last season, featuring a unique acro series rarely seen in competition and a confidence that carried through every skill. She's continuing to build on that competitive presence, with some exciting upgrades in the works. On bars, she's showing a full pirouette-double tuck dismount while also working toward a full-in dismount, bail to handstand, and Gienger. On floor, she's bringing big tumbling with a front double full and 2.5 twist. With her combination of confidence, creativity, and growing difficulty, Sills is making some big moves heading into the new season, and we're excited to see what she brings to the competition floor.

Madeline Plach is entering just her sophomore season, but she's already showing qualities that make her an exciting gymnast to watch. Coming off a strong Level 10 campaign, Plach made her mark on vault with a season-high 9.4, while her floor routine stood out for its impressive performance quality and polish. She brings an NCAA-level presence to her routines, particularly on floor, and has plenty of room to continue developing. This season, she's showing promising upgrades, including a bail that is consistently reaching handstand and a full-in dismount on bars, a cat leap-front toss and side somi on beam, and a double pike on floor. With multiple upgrade options still available and a strong foundation across all four events, Plach could be poised for a significant step forward this season.

After having her freshman season cut short by a back injury, Kaila Keiser is entering her sophomore campaign with something to prove. She's spent the offseason putting in the work and building back toward competition, with several exciting possibilities across her routines. On beam, Keiser has plenty of options, including a back handspring-layout stepout, aerial-back handspring, aerial-back tuck, Barani-split jump, and front toss combinations. On bars, she's been working a clear hip full pirouette and Pak, adding more difficulty to her routine. With multiple beam combinations to choose from and a strong offseason behind her, Keiser is one we're especially excited to see back on the competition floor this season. A healthy return could make her an exciting addition to Wisconsin's lineup of gymnasts to watch.

Hadley Jossart is coming off an impressive Level 9 season that saw her qualify for Westerns and finish 10th on vault with a 9.575. Her Yurchenko layout showcased an exciting combination of power and extension, and with the possibility of adding a twist this season, her vault could become an even bigger scoring opportunity. On bars, her Pak was a highlight, while floor showcased big tumbling, including a double pike and front layout-layout that she makes look effortless and leaves plenty of room for upgrades. Her beam work was equally exciting, featuring a back handspring-layout stepout and split jump-layout stepout. With a double layout on floor among the skills we're hoping to see this season, Jossart has plenty of potential to raise her difficulty across multiple events. After proving herself on the regional stage, she's entering the new season as a gymnast capable of challenging for even more titles and making a bigger name for herself in Wisconsin gymnastics.

Lilia Redig is a gymnast whose attention to detail makes her stand out just as much as her athletic ability. Fresh off an impressive showing at Region 4 HP Camp, Redig has been putting in the work to refine her upgrades and bring them to the competition floor this season. What makes her especially exciting is her incredible body awareness. She understands how to shape and control her body through each skill, making the difficult look polished while minimizing unnecessary deductions. Paired with a strong work ethic and a willingness to push her routines forward, that attention to execution could make a significant difference as she takes on the new season. With upgrades continuing to develop and the potential for another big step in her gymnastics, Redig is a name worth keeping on the radar.

McKenna Weiss is looking to turn a promising freshman Level 9 campaign into an even stronger sophomore season. After qualifying for Regionals and earning fifth place on vault, Weiss has spent the offseason putting in the work and adding difficulty across all four events. On vault, her Yurchenko layout is looking strong, with a Yurchenko full also in development into the foam pit. Bars have several exciting upgrades in the works, including a giant half-bail, Gienger, and clear hip-double tuck dismount. On beam, she's been working a back handspring-tuck and gainer full dismount, while floor brings plenty of tumbling potential with a Rudi, 1.5-pike, and double tuck. With a strong regional showing already behind her and so many new skills developing, Weiss has an opportunity to take a significant step forward this season and become an even bigger name to watch in Wisconsin.

Wilhelmina Ahrens is carrying plenty of momentum into her Level 10 debut after an impressive Level 9 season that saw her finish sixth in the all-around at Westerns and capture silver on bars with a 9.475. She's been spending the offseason refining her routines and building difficulty, with several exciting skills taking shape. On bars, she's been working a bail to handstand and Ray, while floor upgrades include a double tuck. Vault brings a Yurchenko tuck half, and on beam, she's been developing a front tuck mount and aerial. With a Westerns medal already on her résumé and new skills coming together across all four events, Ahrens has plenty of potential to make an impact in her first Level 10 season. We can't wait to see the noise she makes as she takes this next step.

With her senior season on the horizon, Abigail Sprangers is looking sharp in the gym and continuing to fine-tune the routines she'll bring to her final Level 10 campaign. She's showing exciting potential across all four events, with a Yurchenko full on vault, Gienger on bars, and front toss on beam. Floor is another event to watch, where her double tuck, double pike, and front layout-full give her multiple opportunities to showcase her tumbling strength. Sprangers has also taken an official visit to UW-Oshkosh as she continues exploring her collegiate opportunities. With a strong foundation, plenty of experience, and her senior season ahead, she's looking to make the most of every opportunity and finish her Level 10 career on a high note.

Claire Walther enters her junior season with plenty of momentum after a standout Level 9 campaign that included a third-place vault finish at Regionals and a season-high 9.825. Her front handspring-front tuck has become a signature skill, combining explosive power with the kind of controlled landing that college programs covet. While vault remains a major strength, Walther is showing promising development across the all-around. On floor, she's bringing big tumbling with a Rudi and double tuck, while bars features a toe-on-front tuck half dismount that adds another exciting element to her routine. As she continues building consistency and difficulty across all four events, Walther is positioning herself as more than just a vault standout. With her power, precision, and growing all-around presence, she's a gymnast who could make some noise in Wisconsin this season.

Charlee Busser made quite an impression in her Level 9 debut, earning a trip to Westerns and finishing ninth on beam. What stands out about Busser is her clean form and confident approach to each skill, qualities that give her gymnastics a polished look and a strong foundation to build on. She's been putting in the work this offseason, with several exciting upgrades taking shape across all four events. On vault, she's been training a Tsuk layout, while bars features a bail to handstand. Beam brings multiple acro upgrades, including a standing layout stepout and back handspring-layout stepout, and floor adds a double tuck to her tumbling lineup. With her combination of execution, confidence, and growing difficulty, Busser has the tools to build on her breakout season and become an exciting name to watch as Wisconsin's season unfolds.

Lani Storm is heading into her senior season with plenty of momentum and a clear opportunity to make her final Level 10 campaign one to remember. The UW-Eau Claire commit is coming off a big year on vault, where she posted a season-high 9.5, and she's looking strong as she prepares for one last run. She's been working on a Yurchenko full on vault, while bars upgrades include a Gienger and full pirouette-double tuck dismount. Beam brings a Barani and back handspring-back tuck, and floor offers plenty of scoring potential with a 2.5, Rudi, and 1.5-front pike. After also taking official visits to UW-La Crosse and Winona State, Storm has her collegiate destination set and can now focus on making the most of her final club season. With upgrades developing across all four events and a proven ability to deliver big scores on vault, she's one to watch as she looks to close out her Level 10 career with a statement.

Presley Sonnenberg is an exciting power athlete who has already shown she can make an impact on the Level 10 stage. Coming off her first Level 10 season, Sonnenberg qualified for Regionals and finished fifth on floor, establishing herself as a competitor to watch, particularly on the power events. Her explosive tumbling and ability to generate big skills on both vault and floor give her plenty of scoring potential, and with a full Level 10 season of experience behind her, she's entering her sophomore campaign with an opportunity to take another big step forward. As she continues building consistency and refining her routines, Sonnenberg has the potential to challenge for event titles and become a contender in the all-around as well. With her combination of power, experience, and room to grow, she could be one of the gymnasts making some serious noise in Wisconsin this season.

Brooklyn Puser is carrying plenty of momentum into the new season after an impressive Level 9 campaign that saw her qualify for Westerns, finish fifth in the all-around, take sixth on bars, and capture silver on beam. Her ability to compete across all four events makes her an exciting all-around prospect, and she's been working on upgrades that could make her even more competitive this season. On bars, she's developing a full pirouette-double tuck dismount, while beam features an impressive collection of skills, including a back handspring-layout stepout, aerial-split jump, aerial to scale, Barani, and roundoff-tuck 1.5 dismount. She's also bringing increased difficulty to vault with a Yurchenko tuck full, while floor upgrades include a double pike, front through to double tuck, and double full. With a Westerns appearance, multiple event finishes, and new difficulty taking shape, Puser has the potential to challenge for more titles and make an even bigger impact this season.

What stands out about Busser is her clean form and confident approach to each skill, qualities that give her gymnastics a polished look and a strong foundation to build on. She's been putting in the work this offseason, with several exciting upgrades taking shape across all four events.
