She generates impressive height off the table while maintaining an extended body position throughout the vault, then finishes with a controlled landing. That combination of power, amplitude, and consistency was on full display last season, as Murphy never scored below a 9.8 on vault and captured the National title in her age division with a 9.925. She has continued refining her stick, and with an already impressive foundation, Murphy is positioned to make an even bigger impact on the event during her junior season.

Greta Stowell is coming off an impressive season on vault, proving she has the consistency and execution to compete at the highest level. Her performance last season speaks for itself, as she earned a perfect 10.0 on vault twice. Already capable of putting together a 10.0-caliber vault, Stowell still has two years before reaching the collegiate level, giving her plenty of time to continue refining an event that could be a major strength in her future lineup.

Aspen Foster made a statement on vault last season, capturing gold in her age division at Nationals with an impressive 9.9. And she may have even more potential still to unlock. Foster has been training a Yurchenko double full, which showcases that same impressive power while adding another level of difficulty.
