She executed a powerful and well controlled yurchenko one-and-half with wonderful form sticking the landing. Murphy’s confident and commanding presence continued on the floor where she earned a 9.750 and second place in the Junior D division. Murphy’s electrifying routine showcased her musicality and dynamic tumbling. She completed a big round-off back handspring full in, front handspring one-and-half to double stag jump, and round-off one-and-half to front layout all with controlled landings. Whether it is her personality, power, or consistency, Murphy would make an excellent addition to the collegiate gymnastics stage.
