After coaching at the Cassandra Ringer Gymnastics Camps at Illinois State recently, I want to share the wonderful talents of the Level 10 standouts. We will take a look at five athletes from Camp 1 who exhibited high difficulty, exquisite technique, and unique skill choices. These athletes showed consistent effort and offered memorable moments of progress throughout their weekend at Illinois State.

Anna attended Camp 1, where she did a nice job showing talent on all four events. She specifically stood out on beam while working on an impressive Back handspring + Layout step-out + Layout step-out, which is an upgraded triple series. Anna exhibited lots of power and great difficulty on double backs throughout the weekend on floor as well.

Fayelee attended the first camp and showed clean technique and consistency in her gymnastics on each event. On the uneven bars, she demonstrated an Ezhova, commonly known as a Straddle Back Half. This release move going from high bar to low bar offers a unique and stunning component to her overall routine. Lastly, she showed great form and presentation on beam and floor.

Chloe put in a lot of hard work on all four events throughout camp. She stood out primarily on beam while working standing Gainer Layouts and high level leaps. I was impressed by Chloe's unique skills, along with her sharp landing positions. I enjoyed coaching her on floor and bars, watching her progress on her upgraded tumbling and Bail Handstands.

Allie exhibited strong tumbling and impressive balance beam upgrades during camp 1. She showed the variety of acro skills she has available to compete, along with a very unique dismount. She worked Gainer Front Fulls off the side of the beam and made bounds of progress throughout the camp. Allie brought plenty of height and great technique in her Double backs and Front full + Front layout.

Overall, it was an honor and a privilege to work with each of these young athletes at the Cassandra Ringer Gymnastics Camp 1. These athletes stood out to me due to their extremely hard work and courageous attitudes when approaching new skills or upgrades. I can not wait to see more from these gymnasts as they move into competition season.
