Leah Danielson Leah Danielson CO is a strong Level 10 who has already secured a spot on the Penn State gymnastics team. Danielson’s extension and form in her gymnastics are in a class of their own. This year, that was on display at Level 10 Nationals, where she competed for the 4th consecutive time.

Danielson’s form stands out above the rest, whether it’s her long lines and straight legs on bars or her pointed toes throughout her tumbling passes. With her experience competing at Nationals and her attention to detail in her gymnastics, Danielson has put herself in a strong position to make an immediate impact at the next level and will be a great addition to the Penn State roster.

Vault: 9.200, Bars: 9.475, Beam: 9.525, Floor: 9.500, AA: 37.700

Danielson may have been under the weather at nationals, but you would have hardly known it from the way she competed. She was a true performer on floor, commanding the attention of everyone in the building with her powerful and dynamic tumbling, including an impressive front double full. On beam, she demonstrated remarkable toughness and focus, executing a solid back handspring-layout stepout acro connection, a side aerial, and a confident round off-one and a half dismount to earn a 9.525. The fact that she put together performances like these while not at full health speaks volumes about her mental toughness, work ethic, and competitive character, exactly the qualities college programs are looking for.
