Floor is where Hathaway's personality truly takes center stage. She brings an expert level of showmanship to the event, performing with confidence and an awareness of the audience that makes her routines more than just a collection of skills. She knows how to command the floor while delivering tumbling that showcases her power and athleticism. Her full-in is a standout, and she makes it look remarkably easy. She also competes a front layout-front full, a 1.5-layout, and a double pike, giving her routine an impressive combination of difficulty and variety. What makes her tumbling especially exciting is the ease with which she performs it. There is a natural power to her gymnastics that allows her to move through difficult passes without making them look forced, while still bringing the confidence and presentation that make floor such a strength. Her 9.525 season high reflects the work she's put into the event, and her qualification to All-Star Nationals is another indication of the impact she's making as a floor specialist.

While floor may be where Hathaway's personality shines brightest, her strengths certainly don't stop there. On beam, she brings an impressive combination of acrobatic difficulty and confidence. Her routine features a floating back handspring-layout stepout, a standing layout stepout, and a switch leap-switch leap connection. She finishes with a back handspring-1.5 dismount, bringing plenty of power to the final skill. Her 9.4 season high demonstrates her ability to turn those challenging elements into a competitive routine. On bars, Hathaway competes a bail, toe shoot to high bar, and toe-on front tuck dismount. She brings the same confidence to the event that defines her gymnastics elsewhere, and she's already working toward upgrades that could add even more difficulty to her routine. Vault is another event where her natural power is immediately apparent. Her Yurchenko layout features tremendous power and a perfectly open position, creating the kind of vault that looks both effortless and impressive. It's a skill that highlights one of her biggest assets: the ability to generate power while maintaining control and body position.

If Hathaway's second Level 10 season showed what she could do, her summer training suggests she's not content to stay there. She's been working on several upgrades across three events, giving her plenty of exciting possibilities as she prepares for another season. On beam, she's training a back handspring-layout-layout series, along with a front aerial and aerial. She's also working on more challenging connections, including a switch leap-switch half and a switch leap-layout stepout. These additions could give her beam routine an entirely new level of difficulty while building on the confidence and acrobatic ability she's already demonstrated. On vault, she's working toward a Yurchenko full, an exciting progression from her current Yurchenko layout. Adding that upgrade would give her another opportunity to showcase the explosive power that makes her vault so effective. Bars has upgrades in the works as well, including a Tkatchev and a toe-on front pike dismount. Both additions would provide new opportunities to increase her difficulty and continue rounding out her event repertoire.

She has the confidence to compete under pressure, the consistency to contribute across multiple events, and a natural power that allows her to make difficult gymnastics look easy. Add in her personality and showmanship, particularly on floor, and you have a gymnast who brings something special to the competition floor. Her ability to contribute on multiple events, paired with the upgrades she's been developing throughout the summer, makes her an interesting prospect as the collegiate recruiting picture begins to take shape.
