Gigi Giakou is headed to Illinois! The senior, who was previously committed to New Hampshire, has found her new collegiate home with the Fighting Illini, and Illinois is getting a powerhouse athlete with an impressive track record of consistency. Vault was a particular strength last season, where Giakou never scored below a 9.55 with her Yurchenko full, regularly showcasing the power and control to finish with an easy stick. She's equally impressive in the all-around, never dipping below a 37.05 throughout the entire season. That kind of reliability is exactly what college coaches look for when building competitive lineups. With Giakou continuing to put in the work, there are exciting possibilities ahead, including a front through to 2.5, full-in, and double layout on floor, along with a full-twisting double layout dismount on bars. Illinois is adding an athlete who brings power, consistency, and the ability to deliver across multiple events. Giakou's collegiate chapter is shaping up to be an exciting one.

Mary Claire Gillis is taking her talents to Penn State. The senior, who was previously committed to Nebraska, is coming off an impressive season that included an eighth-place finish on bars at Nationals. Gillis also showcased her all-around strength, posting a 38.00 all-around score last season and proving she has the versatility to contribute across all four events. Bars is certainly an event to watch, where her clear hip-Gienger flies off the bar, and her bail to handstand showcases her precision and control. As she continues preparing for her final club season, we're excited to see what she brings to the competition floor, including a double layout dismount on bars, a front handspring-front pike on vault, and a full-in and front pike through to double tuck on floor. Penn State is adding a talented all-around competitor with national-level experience, impressive bar work, and plenty of potential to make an impact in Happy Valley.

Known for her consistency and incredibly clean lines, she has a style of gymnastics that puts an emphasis on precision, control, and polished execution. As she works her way back, we're looking forward to seeing several exciting skills, including a front double full and front layout-Rudi on floor, a double layout dismount and blind change-Jaeger on bars, and a back dive mount on beam. Her ability to pair difficulty with clean positions and controlled execution makes her an exciting addition to North Carolina's future lineup. After the work she's put in during her recovery, we're looking forward to seeing Moore back doing what she does best and beginning this next chapter as a Tar Heel.
