Bright for Future Ahead For Region 3s Class of 2030

The Region 3 Class of 2030 is full of heavy hitters. There are several gymnasts on the rise who are already showcasing the skills, execution and potential to make an impact on the next level. Here are some of the 2030 Region 3 gymnasts to keep an eye on these next couple years.    Declyn Bader's basics are key to her success. From her handstand lines to her form throughout skills, it's clear she has a strong foundation that will continue to shine as she upgrades her routines.    Bader's bar work stands out because of her clean lines and attention to detail. This off season she has continued to work on that event adding a new double front dismount and a jaeger giving her options as she builds her composition for this upcoming season. With Bader's strong fundamentals and continued upgrades she is one to watch in the 2030 class.      Dallas Bassford is swinging into new heights. She is a standout on bars not only because of the skills that she is training but because of the execution she showcases throughout those skills. Recently, Bassford shared that she caught her ray making that her 4th release move on bars. Alongside having a plethora of release moves, she also excels at circling elements including stalder blind work and an endo circle.   Bassford is a great All-Arounder but bars is where she has the opportunity to continue to set herself apart as a competitor. As Bassford continues to grow and add different upgrades she is definitely someone who should be on everyone's radar these next few years.     Ellie Shows is another gymnast whose basics and fundamentals are solid on every event. Shows is coming off an incredible Level 9 season where she won the All-Around at both Regionals and Westerns. She took this off season by storm and has been training impressive upgrades including a jaeger, a ray, a shaposh pac connection on bars and she has been working a variety of D elements and connections on beam.   Given Shows summer training videos combined with her dominant performance last season, her first Level 10 season will be an exciting one to watch.     Rose Odette is another gymnast putting in the work this summer to be ready for her first Level 10 season. Odette's potential is through the roof, from training a multitude of upgrades to her execution and form. She is doing everything she needs to put together a standout first year of Level 10.   Odette shared a training video of all the upgrades she has been working this summer including, a yurchenko full, a triple series on beam, a double layout off the floor and toe blind changes and endo circles on bars. As Odette continues to upgrade her routines she will certainly be one to watch out for in the 2030 class.     Ryan Sams is an incredible All-Arounder, but where she stands out most is beam and floor. She brings unique acro skills to beam but performs them with confidence and ease. She has been training a side aerial 2 foot split jump connection and a side aerial to arabesque giving her routine a unique look.   Sams also brings plenty of power on both floor and vault. Sams has a yurchenko 1 ½, one of the key vaults coaches look for when recruiting for the next level. On floor, she also has been training a punch front through to round off 1 ½ front layout and a punch front double full, upping her difficulty on that event. Sams controlled power on tumbling and confidence on beam set her apart from the rest and make her a standout in the 2030 class.
