Vault is one of Malatesta's clearest strengths, where her Yurchenko full demonstrates exceptional power and shape. She generates huge height and distance off the table, maintaining a fully extended body position in flight before sticking a controlled landing. The combination of amplitude and control gives her vault strong scoring potential and a reliable presence in any lineup, with even more upside as she continues to increase difficulty.

On bars, Malatesta shows a smooth, connected rhythm that allows her to link complex elements with ease. Her Maloney to Pak combination reflects both confidence and fluidity between bars, while her toe-on handstand to double layout dismount highlights her ability to finish with big amplitude and control. Her swing has a natural, unforced quality: steady, efficient, and consistently composed under pressure.

Beam is where Malatesta's artistry truly separates her. Her routine includes a back handspring–layout stepout series, 180-degree leaps and jumps, a front toss, and a back handspring 1.5 dismount. What stands out most is her presentation: clean lines, precise footwork, and an elegant quality that elevates even her most difficult skills. Rather than simply completing elements, she performs them with a sense of rhythm and refinement that makes her routines visually striking from start to finish.

That same grace carries directly into her floor exercise, where her personality and grace shine. Malatesta competes a powerful double pike and a giant double tuck that she makes look almost effortless, landing with ease and confidence. Her movement quality between passes enhances the entire routine, giving her floor a polished and engaging feel that matches her beam artistry while still showcasing real tumbling strength.

Looking ahead, Malatesta is already building toward an even more dynamic competitive profile. On floor, she is working on adding a full-in and a front pike through to double pike, which would significantly increase her difficulty ceiling. On bars, she is training a Church release with a projected connection into a Pak, expanding her already strong swing rhythm into higher-level release value. Beam upgrades include an Onodi, a back handspring–double full dismount, a front toss–back handspring–layout series, and a side somi, all of which would add both originality and difficulty to her elegant style. On vault, she is progressing toward a Yurchenko 1.5.

What makes Malatesta especially compelling is the balance she strikes between elegance and power. She can score through clean execution and artistry while also building toward higher-difficulty skills across every event. As she continues to develop, Malatesta is shaping up to be a standout all-around presence in Region 7 and a gymnast whose routines are as memorable as they are competitive.
