<p>The women's development nationals took place from May 8-10 and showcased incredible talent among the gymnasts in attendance, with several already committed to colleges for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. Yet, many talented gymnasts remain uncommitted and deserve the spotlight, as their skill and potential would make a tremendous contribution to any college program.</p>

<p>Natysin tied for 8th in the all-around with an impressive 38.175, holding her own against some of the most competitive girls in the country. She had a strong performance on bars with a front giant into a double front tuck dismount, scoring 9.575, and tied for 3rd place on floor with a 9.700. Her combination of skill, difficulty, and consistency under pressure would be an excellent asset to any program.</p>

<p>Caslow turned in an outstanding performance on vault, earning a 9.775 and tying for 3rd with a beautiful Yurchenko full that was nearly stuck with minimal adjustments on landing. On floor, her powerful tumbling, included a front double full, a Rudi to layout step out, and a front full to front pike, earned her a 9.625 and a tie for 5th in her division. Caslow also had wonderful dance elements and leaps in her floor and beam routine, adding to her artistry in the events. What makes Caslow particularly valuable as a recruit is the complete package she brings: her dynamic tumbling is matched by elegant dance elements and leaps on both floor and beam, making her a versatile and impactful all-around gymnast that any program would be lucky to have.</p>

Ma tied for 3rd on Vault in her division, performing a spectacular Yurchenko half on half off pike, nearly sticking the landing and earning a 9.775. Her precision, power, and competitive composure make her a gymnast any college program would be lucky to recruit.</p>

She was a true performer on floor, commanding the attention of everyone in the building with her powerful and dynamic tumbling, including an impressive front double full. On beam, she demonstrated remarkable toughness and focus, executing a solid back handspring-layout stepout acro connection, a side aerial, and a confident round off-one and a half dismount to earn a 9.525. The fact that she put together performances like these while not at full health speaks volumes about her mental toughness, work ethic, and competitive character, exactly the qualities college programs are looking for.</p>
