Swenson has been hard at work refining her basics on bars, but also added a new connection on the set. She previously competed a Hindorff release, but within the last month of training has started Hindorff to bail connection to a mat stack. This added release will take her routine to the next level as she enters the season.

Sarah Swenson brings a well-rounded skill set across all four events. On floor, she competes a strong double tuck and a powerful 2.5 twist, consistently finishing both passes with controlled landings. Her vault features a clean Yurchenko layout, and she is working on upgrading to a full. Beam highlights include a back tuck and a front toss-back handspring connection. On bars, Swenson showcases impressive difficulty with a Ray release, a Maloney transition, and a double tuck dismount, and she’s currently training a double layout dismount that could add even more scoring potential to her routine.
