Sakira Mitchell enters her senior season with plenty of momentum after competing Level 9 last season and establishing herself as a particularly powerful presence on vault. She is now building toward Level 10 with an exciting slate of upgrades across all four events. On bars, Mitchell is working toward a Hindorff, Shaposh and full-out dismount, while her floor upgrades include a double tuck, double layout and front layout-front double full. She is also developing a Yurchenko tuck full and Kasamatsu on vault, along with new skills on beam. With her power already making her a standout on vault and floor, Mitchell looks ready to take a significant step forward in her senior season.
