Michela Cuppari has already made a strong impression on the recruiting scene, visiting Oklahoma and Iowa so far after an impressive season that saw her place second all-around at Nationals. Cuppari stands out for her polished presence across all four events, bringing a level of consistency and confidence that makes her a valuable all-around threat. On beam, she performs her back handspring-layout, front toss, and aerial with ease, moving through the routine with minimal balance checks. Her floor routine combines creative choreography and natural showmanship with powerful tumbling, including a double tuck, and a confidence that is difficult to replicate. She’s training a full-in that could take the event to another level, while her Yurchenko 1½ in training looks promising heading into next season. On bars, her piked Jaeger reaches impressive height, and she’s also been training a Church release. Cuppari is one to keep an eye on throughout the recruiting process. Wherever she ultimately calls home, she has the tools to step into a lineup and make an impact.

Michela has a full repertoire of E skills, but one that stands out is her full in on floor. She completes the full twist and two flips with perfect form. Her chest is near vertical as she lands which is a testament to her power and technique throughout the pass.

Michela Cuppari brings a level of polish and confidence to her bars that makes her routine stand out. Her set features a blind change to piked Jaeger release, a Pak salto, precise vertical handstands, and a double layout dismount that she frequently finishes with a controlled stick. Cuppari’s ability to combine difficult release work with clean execution gives her routine a strong balance of excitement and reliability. This offseason, she has continued pushing the boundaries of her already impressive skill set by training upgrades such as a full-twisting double layout dismount and a powerful Church release. Already equipped with the consistency and difficulty needed to contribute at the collegiate level, Cuppari enters her junior year as a bar specialist who could bring immediate value and continued upside to any lineup.

Michela is an impressive beam worker that has a routine packed with strong acro skills and big leaps. Her flexibility makes her stand out, with her switch leap and straddle jump both over 180 degrees. Equally as impressive is the amplitude on her pike front toss, which she performs flawlessly.

Michela’s remarkable consistency, confidence, and skill lead her to a 5th place finish at 2026 Nationals. Time after time, she has delivered outstanding performances under pressure which make her a true Beam Queen.

Cuppari’s national performance highlighted her consistency with her scoring no less than a 9.550 on any of the events, and landing a second place finish in the All-Around Junior E division with a 38.575. Cuppari had an exceptional performance on bars, earning 9.750 and a PR at nationals. She was strong throughout the routine competing a clean pike Jaeger and pak salto, then sticking her double layout dismount. On floor, Cuppari soared showcasing her powerful and dynamic tumbling, which included a round-off back handspring double back, round-off one-and-half to front full, and a big round-off back handspring double pike. She rounded out her floor routine with beautiful dance elements and completed a beautiful double full turn with ease. Cuppari’s consistency and versatility across all the events would make her a valuable asset to any collegiate program.
