Maddy Otto had a stand out 2026 season becoming Texas State Vault champion and qualifying for Level 10 Nationals. But this offseason she is putting in work. Otto is training a huge yurchenko 1 ½, a round off double twist dismount off beam, a front handspring front double twist, and a back 2 ½ twist on floor, just to name a few upgrades. Beyond the upgrades she has showcased what stands out about Otto is the form and fundamentals she brings to her gymnastics. Even as she adds difficulty her technique and execution remain a priority. If her current training is any indication on what the future will look like it includes even more difficult and clean gymnastics. Otto is on track to build on her standout 2026 season and will be one to watch next year. 

Maddy Otto is a well-rounded prospect with a strong combination of power and consistency across all four events. She competes a Yurchenko full on vault, a beam routine featuring a back handspring to layout step-out, beat jump to aerial, big leaps, and a round-off to 1.5 dismount, a floor routine highlighted by a 2.5, front layout to front full, and 1.5 to front pike, and a bars routine with a Shaposh, bail to handstand, and toe-on to front pike dismount. As she continues to train upgrades like a Yurchenko 1.5, double layout, 1.5 to front full, back handspring to chest mount, and round-off to double full dismount, Otto is steadily building an increasingly impressive all-around repertoire that makes her a prospect to watch.
