Luca Buchanan is a polished gymnast who brings consistency, strong execution, and clean presentation across all four events. She currently competes a giant ½ to bail to hand and clear hip handstand to double tuck dismount on bars, a Yurchenko layout on vault, and a beam routine highlighted by a back handspring to layout stepout, back tuck, roundoff to full dismount, and steady landings. On floor, Buchanan showcases her athleticism with a 1½ to front pike, front layout to front pike, and impressive leap series.

This summer, Buchanan has continued to build her routines with exciting upgrades, including a double pike, front Rudi, and front layout to front full on floor, along with a roundoff to 1½ dismount and standing layout stepout on beam. She is also training a Yurchenko full on vault. With her clean lines, consistency, and continued skill development, Buchanan is a rising talent to watch as she continues to progress into her freshman season.
