LJ Hodnett is a promising prospect with a strong foundation and plenty of room to continue building difficulty. In competition, she showed a solid bars routine featuring a Pak, half pirouette, clear hip to handstand, and double-tuck dismount. On beam, Hodnett competed a back handspring-layout stepout, back tuck, and round-off full dismount, while her floor routine included a 1.5-front pike, front layout-front pike, and 1.5. She also competed a Yurchenko tuck on vault.

Hodnett is already working toward upgrades, including a round-off 1.5 dismount on beam and a double tuck on floor. With her current skill set and additional difficulty developing in training, Hodnett has a lot of potential to make significant strides as she continues to progress.
