Coming off her second Level 10 season and a Nationals qualification last year, Lina Demateis is using her upgrade season to add even more difficulty to an already impressive arsenal. On floor, she is training a full-in and front pike to double tuck to complement the double tuck and front Rudi she already competes, giving her a powerful and dynamic tumbling package. Bars is gaining difficulty with a double layout dismount alongside her Jaeger release, while a new front toss on beam adds another layer to her routine. Her Yurchenko full on vault rounds out her four-event skill set, showcasing a clean, extended body position with plenty of polish. With upgrades taking shape across multiple events, Demateis is poised to make an even bigger impact this season.
