Kerriyah Pettus is the kind of athlete you can rely on when the pressure is on. She brings impressive power to every event, and it is especially evident in her tumbling, where her big skills showcase just how much force she can generate. She has the ability to attack her routines with amplitude and explosiveness while maintaining the control needed to turn that power into consistent performances. That combination of difficulty, strength, and reliability makes Pettus a particularly intriguing athlete to watch. When she is at her best, her gymnastics doesn’t just stand out for the skills she performs, but for the sheer power behind them.

Region 8 gymnast Kerriyah Pettus built consistency with her high flying straddle Tkatchev throughout last season, and recently has been working on her form, as well as adding a bail connection. Pettus is a solid competitor across all events and is one to watch as she continues to progress this summer.
