Iris Feng is heading into next season with valuable Level 9 experience already behind her after making her debut on the level last season. She showed versatility across all four events, including a tuck Yurchenko on vault, a 1/2 pirouette and bail to handstand on bars, and a beam routine featuring a split jump-back tuck, back handspring-layout stepout, and round-off full dismount. Her floor routine brought a strong combination of tumbling, highlighted by a 1.5, front pike-front pike and front through to full. Feng is already pushing her difficulty further, training a Yurchenko tuck 1/2, a 1/2 pirouette-bail to handstand connection on bars, and several new floor combinations, including a 1.5-front tuck and front layout-front tuck. With a full Level 9 season now under her belt, Feng has an exciting foundation to build on as she continues to develop.
