Harper Cave has been hard at work this summer and showing great potential on beam. Cave’s routine previously featured a front aerial back handspring step-out connection, beat jump to side somi, and a switch leap to a pike gainer dismount with consistent landing execution. She is now training a front tuck with solid landing execution, a front tuck to back handspring step-out connection, a straddle ¼ jump with impressive height, and gaining consistency with front aerial to scale, upgrading to an E difficulty skill. Beyond her skill upgrades, Cave shines on beam with her unique choreography, adaptability, and composure, all qualities that any college program would be on the lookout for.

Cave posted a 35.800 all-around showing a strong balance of power, artistry, and clean execution across all four events. She competed a front handspring–front tuck vault that showed good amplitude and control on landing, setting the tone for a solid overall performance. On floor, she delivered one of her most dynamic routines, highlighted by a front layout to front Rudi connection and a front double full, combining difficult tumbling with confident presentation and steady landings throughout. Her beam routine stood out for its originality and composure, particularly a front aerial-back handspring connection that she executed with precision and confidence. As a Class of 2028 athlete, Cave’s performance shows clear long-term potential, with a strong blend of power, confidence, and developing consistency that should continue to elevate her as she progresses.
