Grace Orcutt is a talented recruit who particularly shines on floor and beam. She posted a season-high 9.5 on floor, where her performance and confidence make her a standout, while her season-high 9.575 on beam highlights her ability to deliver on another key event. With strong routines on both events, Orcutt has shown that she can make an impact in multiple areas of the lineup. She has already visited Boise State and Minnesota, giving her the opportunity to experience both programs as she continues through the recruiting process. It will be exciting to follow her journey and see where she ultimately decides to call home.

Grace Orcutt has shown impressive resilience after sustaining a hand injury at the beginning of last season, but adapted and continued to work through out the healing process. Her work on bars stands out for her clean lines, consistency, and adaptability. Last season, Orcutt competed a Maloney, Pak salto, and double layout dismount, consistently showcasing excellent landing execution. This summer, she has been gaining consistency on a new Ray release while continuing to work on her Maloney to Pak salto connection. With her polished execution and continued upgrades, Orcutt is a gymnast to keep an eye on as she builds on her routine.

Grace Orcutt’s form and clean lines are the first thing that stand out when watching her gymnastics. Her beautiful presentation and ability to hit skills with control and precision is what brings her beam to the next level.

Orcutt has been dialing in several upgrades this summer to elevate her routine. She is training a switch leap, switch half, back handspring 1 ½ dismount & front aerial, back handspring layout series. Bringing these upgrades next season could allow Orcutt to continue to set herself apart on the event.
