Esme Hayes is bringing an impressive all-around skill set into the season, with difficulty across all four events and exciting upgrades in the works. Last season, she showcased plenty of power on floor, competing a front double full, double tuck, 1.5-front layout, and switch side-wolf full. On beam, her routine featured a back handspring-back tuck, front tuck, back tuck, and front tuck full dismount, while bars included a Gienger, bail to handstand, and double tuck dismount. She also brought a strong Yurchenko layout to vault. This summer, Esme has been working to raise the bar even further, training a Yurchenko full, Rudi dismount on beam, and new floor combinations including a 2.5 and 1.5-front full. With her combination of established difficulty and ambitious upgrades, Esme is an exciting athlete to watch this season.
