Elle Wegmann is another gymnast who put in the work this off season to prepare for her senior year. On bars, she showcases nice lines and has added difficult upgrades including a Geinger and a double layout dismount. Beam is where Wegmann brings consistency from start to finish. Her skills include a solid back handspring layout series, a front toss and a gainer pike dismount. Based on her summer training, Wegmann has set herself up for a breakout senior season and should be a recruit that is on everyone’s radar.

Elle Wegmann brings a strong all-around foundation and exciting upgrades to the season, with difficulty and potential across all four events. Her Yurchenko layout on vault provides a solid foundation, while bars features a clear hip-toe shoot to high bar, bail, and full pirouette-double tuck dismount. On beam, Wegmann competes a back handspring to chest mount, back handspring-layout stepout, switch leap-back tuck, and pike gainer dismount. Her floor routine packs plenty of difficulty with a double back, front full-front pike, Rudi, and switch side-Popa. She’s also training upgrades including a Yurchenko full, clear hip-Gienger, double layout dismount, front toss, switch leap-pike gainer dismount, double pike, and front double full. With a strong base already in place and significant upgrades on the horizon, Wegmann is an athlete worth watching as she enters her senior season.
