Expert Analysis
Clarissa Richardson | Prep Gymnastics Scout
Elizabeth Ducre knows how to make an impression on the floor, blending powerful tumbling with dramatic choreography that she performs with grace and confidence. Her double tuck brings the power, while her front layout-front full and front Rudi add variety and difficulty to her routine. But what truly makes Elizabeth stand out is her ability to bring her choreography to life. Every movement feels intentional, creating a performance that draws you in from beginning to end. And there’s plenty to look forward to as she continues developing her floor exercise! Potential upgrades like a double pike and a front layout-front Rudi combination could add even more difficulty to an already engaging routine. Pair that increased tumbling potential with her signature dramatic style, and Elizabeth has the ingredients to become a memorable floor performer in the class of 2030.

Elizabeth Ducre is a powerhouse gymnast whose combination of explosive difficulty, artistry, and impressive form makes her especially exciting to watch. She put that power on display throughout last season, earning a season-high 9.6 on vault at Nationals to place 10th, while her 9.475 on floor earned her 13th. After a season filled with hard work and continued training, we’re excited to see what Elizabeth brings to the competition floor as she enters her freshman season. There are plenty of skills we’re hoping to see make their way into her routines this season. Her Yurchenko 1.5 could make vault an immediate standout, while beam could feature a front toss and back handspring–layout two-foot, adding difficulty to an event where her combination of power and polish shines. On floor, her double pike is particularly exciting. She launches off the floor with impressive power, and when paired with a front layout–front Rudi and front double full, the routine has the potential to be a major highlight. But Elizabeth’s floor is about more than tumbling. She brings incredible showmanship and artistry to the event, proving that she can pair her raw power with the performance quality that makes a routine memorable. We can’t wait to see how all of that hard work translates to her freshman season and how Elizabeth continues to grow as she takes the next step in her gymnastics career.
