Carys Heinrich stands out on bars for her impeccable form and attention to detail, proving that the little things can make a big difference. Her routine features a Maloney, Pak, and Tkatchev, bringing a strong combination of difficulty and variety to the event. She also incorporates a full pirouette before finishing with a full-out dismount. What truly catches the eye, though, is Carys’s precision in her handstands. She hits vertical positions with her legs glued together, showcasing exceptional body control and the kind of clean technique that elevates a routine. From her tight lines to her polished execution, Carys brings a refined quality to bars that makes her especially exciting to watch. For the class of 2030, she’s a name to remember when considering future collegiate bars lineups.

Carys Heinrich enters her fourth Level 10 season coming off an impressive campaign highlighted by a 37.95 season-high all-around score. With three seasons of Level 10 experience already under her belt, Carys has established herself as a well-rounded athlete with the difficulty and consistency to make an impact across all four events. This summer, she’s focused on refining her already impressive routines while continuing to push her skill set forward with new upgrades. On beam, she’s been training a front tuck mount, Arabian, back handspring-layout-layout, and round-off-double tuck dismount. Her floor upgrades include a front through to double tuck, double layout, full-in, and double Arabian, while bars features a Ray and toe shoot-full pirouette. She’s also been working a Tsuk full on vault. Carys added another valuable experience to her summer by competing at Hopes Championships, giving her the opportunity to compete in a high-level environment while continuing to prepare for the upcoming season. With extensive Level 10 experience, impressive difficulty, and a summer focused on both refinement and upgrades, Carys enters the next chapter of her gymnastics career with plenty of momentum.
