Iowa commit Ava Mickey brings a well-rounded skill set to the table, with her vault and bars standing out as particular highlights. On vault, she combines impressive power with excellent body position, creating a dynamic and polished routine from start to finish. Her bars are equally exciting, as she moves through the routine with natural rhythm and fluidity before finishing with a confident stuck landing. While those two events may be her calling cards, Mickey has the consistency and ability across all four events to make her presence felt. With her combination of power, execution, and all-around versatility, she looks poised to make an impact in the Hawkeyes’ lineup.
