Amina Mackalo is a polished bars worker who stands out for her excellent handstands, clean form, and efficient swing throughout her routine. Her current set features a clear hip handstand to Hindorff, clear hip handstand to Pak salto, and a double tuck dismount, showcasing both strong fundamentals and advanced release work. She continues to build her difficulty with a Hindorff to Pak connection and double layout dismount in training, making Mackalo an exciting bars prospect for any future lineup.

Mackalo is hard at work with her summer upgrades. She has been training a Hindorff to Pak salto connection on the set and double layout dismount onto a mat in the pit. Mackalo previously competed a double back dismount and the double layout dismount would increase the value from a C to D difficulty, which makes her that much more ready for a college program.
