Coming off her first Level 9 season, Alana Nelson already has a Westerns appearance under her belt, where she made an especially strong impression on floor with a second-place finish. Her incredible showmanship is a defining part of her routines, giving her the ability to capture an audience while delivering her skills with confidence. This season, Nelson is adding even more difficulty, training a Tkatchev on bars, a back handspring-layout stepout, front toss, and 1.5 dismount on beam, and major upgrades on floor with a double layout and double back. After making her mark at Westerns in her first Level 9 season, Nelson is poised to take another exciting step forward.
