Addalye VanGrinsven made a statement at the Xfinity U.S. Championships, capturing junior all-around gold with a performance that showcased her power, precision, and captivating artistry across all four events. On vault, her Yurchenko 1.5 and Yurchenko full make an immediate impact, combining impressive height with controlled, seemingly effortless landings. Her bars routine brings plenty of difficulty, featuring a Jaeger, Pak, Maloney, Gienger, full pirouette, and double layout dismount. On beam, VanGrinsven pairs technical confidence with exquisite, picture-perfect artistry, connecting a back handspring-layout and front tuck before finishing with a round-off double tuck dismount. She carries that same combination of power and performance quality to floor, where a double layout, full-in, and front layout through to double tuck highlight her impressive tumbling ability. What truly sets VanGrinsven apart is her impeccable artistry and expert showmanship, bringing every routine to life while maintaining the precision of an elite competitor. With junior all-around gold already to her name, she’s a gymnast whose continued development will be exciting to follow.
