Abbey Reid has the kind of vault that immediately catches your attention, combining impressive power with distance that carries her well beyond the table. Her Yurchenko full consistently showcases that explosiveness, and when she finds the landing, she makes the stick look effortless. That combination of amplitude and control gives her a strong foundation as she looks toward her collegiate future. Even more exciting is the Yurchenko 1.5 she has been training, which appears ready to make its way into competition. Adding that extra half twist could elevate her scoring potential and make her an even more valuable vault option. With a powerful full already in her arsenal and a promising upgrade on the horizon, Abbey is one to watch as the class of 2030 continues to take shape.

Abbey Reid enters her freshman season as an excellent all-around athlete with a strong combination of difficulty, artistry, and polished execution. On bars, she competes a blind change-Jaeger, bail to handstand, and full pirouette-double tuck dismount, while her Yurchenko full on vault adds another strong event to her résumé. Beam is a standout, featuring a back handspring-back handspring-layout, back tuck, switch leap-split jump, and round-off 1.5 dismount, all enhanced by beautiful lines and confident presentation. On floor, Reid brings expressive choreography and great showmanship to a routine highlighted by a big double tuck with an easy landing, front layout-front full, and 1.5-front layout. She’s also training a Yurchenko 1.5, full-in, double layout dismount, clear hip-blind change, and front toss. With her well-rounded skill set and continued upgrades, Reid is an athlete to watch as she begins her freshman season.
