Coming off a strong first Level 9 season that earned her a trip to Easterns, Annabelle Stroud is already showing signs of being ready for the next level. As the reigning all-around state bronze medalist, she has proven she can compete with the best, but it’s the upgrades she’s been training in the gym that have us watching closely. On beam, a roundoff-double full and back handspring-two-foot layout would add impressive difficulty, while her floor upgrades include a double pike and Rudi-layout stepout. On bars, a Jaeger and clear hip-1.5 dismount offer a glimpse of what’s to come. With this kind of difficulty in development, Stroud is one to watch as she potentially makes the jump to Level 10 this season.
