Ava Steffensen is an exciting prospect with a strong foundation across all four events and plenty of difficulty developing in training. In competition, she showed a Yurchenko layout on vault and a solid bars routine featuring a half pirouette, toe shoot to high, Pak salto, and double-tuck dismount. Her floor routine included a 1.5-front pike and front full, while her beam routine featured a beat jump-aerial, back handspring-layout stepout, and switch leap-split jump.

Steffensen is already working toward significant upgrades across every event. On vault, she is training a Yurchenko half-on to front pike and Yurchenko 1.5, while her bars upgrades include a front stalder-Jaeger and double-layout dismount. She is also developing a back handspring-layout-layout series and switch leap-Gainer dismount on beam. On floor, she is working a front through to double tuck and front Rudi, giving her even more potential to increase her difficulty as she continues to progress.
