Charlotte Macko is entering her sophomore season with postseason experience already under her belt and plenty of room to build on it. After placing seventh at Regionals last season and earning a spot at Easterns, Macko heads into this year with the competitive foundation to take another step forward. Her routines show a solid mix of difficulty and versatility, including a pike Tsuk on vault, a front full and front layout-front pike combination on floor, and a back handspring-layout stepout on beam. She’s also adding new elements to her arsenal, training a piked Jaeger on bars, a handstand-layout-layout on beam, and a front Rudi on floor. With those upgrades in the works, Macko is an athlete to keep an eye on as she looks to turn her postseason experience into an even stronger sophomore campaign.
