Jayla Kunen brings an effortless quality to her gymnastics, making challenging skills look fluid and beautiful through her clean lines and graceful execution. She has a way of moving from one element to the next with confidence, allowing the difficulty of her routines to shine without losing that polished presentation. On bars, we’re excited to see her Ray, Maloney, Pak, and toe-on front tuck half dismount, a combination that showcases her technical range and ability to keep her movement looking smooth. Her Yurchenko full on vault brings another opportunity to pair power with precise execution, while floor highlights her tumbling ability with a double tuck. On beam, her back handspring-layout stepout and gainer full dismount offer a mix of acrobatic difficulty and a strong finish. Kunen’s ability to make every skill look intentional and graceful is what sets her apart, and we’re looking forward to seeing her bring that signature style to the competition floor this season.
