Last year on vault, Dory competed a Yurchenko ½ on to front tuck (Yurchenko Arabian), showing clean form, excellent amplitude, and a solid and consistent landing.
Uneven bars is a strong event for Dory. Last season, she competed a Maloney release and a bail to handstand, showing both consistency and a steady rhythm throughout her swing. She capped her routine off with a huge double layout dismount, showcasing both form and amplitude in the skill. Her continued upgrades throughout the season signal an athlete pushing to increase difficulty in a meaningful and impactful way.

On beam, Dory displayed a confident and powerful style. Her routine included a consistent front tuck, a back handspring-layout series, and a round-off 1.5 dismount. The combination of difficulty and artistry gives her routine strong scoring potential, especially as she continues to add upgrades.

Floor exercise was another strong event in her sophomore year. Dory competed a double tuck, a 2.5 twist, and a 1.5-front pike, showcasing both power and her twisting ability in her tumbling. Her performance of the choreography, combined with her hard-hitting tumbling, made her floor routine a fun one to watch and would be an asset to any college team lineup.

What makes Dory especially exciting heading into the next season is the depth of her upgrade list. On beam, she's currently training a round-off double full dismount, a double wolf turn, and a side somi. Each of these skills has the confidence and clean form she is known to deliver on all of her skills. On vault, she's working on upgrading her Yurchenko Arabian to a pike position, which is looking strong and clean. Her bar upgrades include a toe hand blind change to Jaeger combination and the beginning stages of a Van Leeuwen, an indication of increasing release complexity, higher start value, and reliability in any lineup on the event. On floor, she's working towards full-ins and upgrading her 1.5-front pike to a layout.

Dory represents a gymnast who is not only contributing strong routines across all four events, but is actively expanding her difficulty ceiling in all directions. As she continues refining execution and integrating her upgrades, she's positioned to become a huge all-around threat in Region 1's class of 2028. For now, she earns Region 1 Athlete of the Week honors, recognizing both her sophomore season impact and her clear upward momentum heading into the future.
