Marlena Bergstein has been putting in the work, and the skills she’s been building this month have us excited to see what she brings to competition! On bars, she’s been working on an impressive lineup featuring a double layout dismount, Ray, and bail to handstand. These upgrades could add even more difficulty and excitement to her routine. On beam, we’re especially looking forward to her back handspring to back handspring to layout step-out, along with her aerial to switch leap to switch-side combination. With challenging skills taking shape on both events, Marlena is giving us plenty to watch for as the season approaches. We can’t wait to see all that hard work translate to the competition floor!

Marlena Bergstein brings a strong combination of difficulty, rhythm, and technical potential to her bars. Her routine features a toe handstand to bail handstand, a Ray release, and a full-out dismount, showcasing her ability to perform challenging skills with confidence. Bergstein maintains a steady rhythm throughout her routine, creating a smooth and efficient performance. She has been working on connecting her Ray release directly into the bail, an upgrade that would add even more value to her already impressive composition. As she continues developing and increasing her difficulty over the next few seasons, Bergstein is emerging as another bar recruit with the potential to be lineup-ready at the collegiate level.
