Allie Vitagliano is heading into her sophomore season with valuable experience from her first year at Level 10 and plenty of momentum heading into the new campaign. She posted a season-high 35.325 at State and established herself as a standout on vault, where her power and potential make the event a particularly exciting part of her all-around profile. She’s spent the summer training hard and looking to build on that foundation, with upgrades developing across all four events. On vault, Allie has been working a Yurchenko full, while her bars training has included a Tkatchev and double layout dismount. Beam upgrades include a standing layout to scale, front tuck and round-off-1.5 dismount, and she’s also been adding difficulty to her floor routine with a double pike and 1.5-front pike. After gaining her first full season of Level 10 experience, Allie enters her sophomore year with the opportunity to turn that experience into a significant step forward. Her continued development, particularly on vault, makes her an athlete to keep an eye on as she looks to make a splash this season.
