Greta Murphy’s summer training is paying off as she continues to elevate her performance on bars and add exciting upgrades. She is training a double layout dismount, recently moving it to the set, along with a high-flying Ray to Pak salto connection. Previously competing a Maloney to Pak salto connection, Greta continues to build difficulty while showcasing her athleticism through power and solid skill execution. Her ability to contribute across multiple events, combined with her continued progression, makes Greta an exciting gymnast to watch as she prepares for the upcoming season.

Greta McMurphy enters her junior season as a vaulter to watch after a standout year on the event. She posted a season-high 9.625 at Nationals, showcasing the potential to be a major contributor on vault this season. McMurphy also brings solid routines across bars, beam, and floor, while continuing to develop impressive upgrades in the gym, including a Yurchenko 1.5 on vault, Ray and double layout dismount on bars, and full-in, front Rudi and double layout on floor. With another year of development ahead, McMurphy is one to keep an eye on heading into the upcoming season.
