Mollie Murdock made an immediate impact in her first Level 9 season, posting a 37.650 season-high all-around score at Regionals to finish second and earn her spot at Westerns. She continued to make her mark on the postseason stage, with vault emerging as a standout event. At Westerns, Mollie earned a 9.700 to finish third on vault with her Yurchenko layout. Her bars routine features a double tuck dismount, while beam includes a back tuck, back handspring-layout stepout, and back handspring-full dismount. On floor, she combines tumbling and dance with a front full, 1.5-front pike, switch leap-switch side, and front layout-front pike. Mollie has spent the summer building on an already successful first season, training a Yurchenko 1/2 on vault and adding significant difficulty on floor with a double layout, 1.5-front full, and double pike. She has also been working a Pak salto and Gienger on bars, along with a back handspring-Gainer full dismount on beam. With a strong Level 9 debut behind her and upgrades across every event, Mollie is an athlete with plenty of momentum heading into her next season.
