Ariana Barksdale’s bars are an exciting blend of rhythm, amplitude, and polished execution. The incoming senior and Florida commit incorporates plenty of Stalder work throughout the routine, creating a dynamic rhythm that keeps the set moving from one element to the next. Her Pak salto is a highlight, floating gracefully and powerfully between the bars before she continues seamlessly into the rest of the routine. Barksdale’s beautiful form and crisp handstands add another layer of refinement, giving the routine a clean and composed look even as she builds momentum. She carries that confidence all the way to the dismount, launching a double layout with plenty of height before finding an easy stick. From the fluidity of her connections to the precision of her handstands and the strength of her finish, Barksdale’s bars are a routine that is as enjoyable to watch as it is impressive.

Not far behind was, Ariana Barksdale who placed first in the All-Around category in the Junior F division scoring an outstanding 39.175. She tied for second place on bars with an exceptional routine to include a stalder to endo circle to half pirouette and double layout dismount. Barksdale also had an excellent day on beam scoring a 9.800 and earning third place, with a wonderful backhandspring step-out backhandspring step-out layout step-out connection and swing though front aerial. Barksdale talent extends across all four events, and has committed to University of Florida for 2027.
