Beam may be the best example of that competitive presence. Jerome moves through her routine with a steady confidence, attacking each tumbling element and jump without hesitation. Last season, she brought a back handspring to back tuck, gainer layout stepout, and round-off to 1.5 dismount. Rather than letting the difficulty dictate the pace of the routine, Jerome takes ownership of the event, creating the feeling that she expects to hit every skill she attempts. She is also training a front toss, giving her another piece to add to an already confident beam routine.

That same approach carries over to floor, where Jerome combines powerful tumbling with dramatic choreography. Her double pike, whip to 1.5, and 1.5 to front pike gave the routine plenty of difficulty last season, but it is the way she attacks each pass that makes the biggest impression. She performs with conviction, using the choreography to build energy and giving the routine a strong sense of personality. She is now training both a double tuck and double pike, continuing to build on one of the most exciting parts of her gymnastics.

On vault, Jerome brings a fully extended layout Yurchenko, maintaining her shape throughout the skill before finding an easy landing. Bars showcases another side of her gymnastics, with a Maloney to bail and double pike dismount that gets impressive distance from the bar. She is also training a Yurchenko half on vault, giving her another avenue to continue developing her lineup.

Across all four events, Jerome has a consistent approach: attack the skill, trust the preparation, and compete with confidence. That mentality allows her power to come through without sacrificing control. Even when she is performing difficult gymnastics, there is a sense that she is fully committed to every movement, from the takeoff of a tumbling pass to the finish of a jump.

After two seasons at Level 10, Jerome is beginning to establish a style that is distinctly her own. She brings power, confidence, and a willingness to attack every routine, while her dramatic floor presentation adds another layer to her competitive presence. Her gymnastics carries a familiar combination of strength, confidence, and composed athleticism, the kind of quality that has long stood out in some of the sport's most memorable performers, while maintaining a personality that is uniquely hers.

As Jerome continues adding difficulty, her ceiling becomes even more intriguing. She already has the competitive presence to command attention, and the upgrades she is working toward give her more opportunities to showcase her power. Samantha Jerome is a gymnast who competes with purpose, and when she steps onto the floor, there is little doubt that she intends to make every skill count.
