Floor may be where Sparks makes her biggest statement. Her front double full and huge double tuck provide the kind of powerful tumbling that immediately grabs your attention, but it is her impeccable showmanship that takes the routine to another level. She has a natural ability to perform for an audience, bringing energy and personality to her choreography without allowing the power of her tumbling to overshadow the presentation. Her performance draws you in and makes you feel like you're watching a show rather than a routine. Her front Rudi-layout stepout adds another impressive combination to a routine that is already packed with standout moments.

That power is a defining quality throughout Sparks' gymnastics. Her Yurchenko full on vault has tremendous explosiveness, giving her the kind of amplitude that makes the vault particularly exciting to watch. On bars, she brings that same power to her Tkatchev-Pak connection, attacking the combination with impressive force while maintaining the control needed to move seamlessly from one skill to the next.

Beam showcases another side of her gymnastics, pairing her power with confident, controlled acrobatics. Her front aerial, switch leap-switch leap, and back handspring-layout stepout give the routine plenty of difficulty, while her continued work this summer points toward even more potential. Sparks is training a front toss as well as a back handspring-layout-layout combination, upgrades that could make an already competitive beam routine even more impactful.

Her vault progression is equally exciting. Sparks is training a Yurchenko 1.5 this summer, giving her an opportunity to add another significant power event upgrade before making the transition to college gymnastics. Combined with the difficulty she is developing on beam, it is clear that she is not simply preparing to finish her Level 10 career. She is using her senior season to build toward what comes next.

And what comes next could be special. Sparks has already proven that she can compete successfully at the highest level of Level 10 gymnastics, finishing third at Nationals in the all-around. Now, as she enters her senior season, she has another opportunity to put an exclamation point on an impressive club career. With her exceptional power, all-around versatility, performance ability, and continued upgrades, Sparks is poised to enter her final season ready to make some noise. LSU will be getting a gymnast capable of making an impact across the lineup.
