As college programs continue to evaluate the next wave of recruits, Region 1 standout Kendall Legg is proving why she deserves attention as one of the athletes to watch heading into her senior season. With a powerful skill set, impressive upgrades in progress, and the consistency and artistry that coaches look for at the collegiate level, Legg has continued to show she has the tools to make an immediate impact on a college roster.

Legg is the type of gymnast who brings excitement to every event. She combines difficulty with strong execution, while also showcasing the performance quality and confidence that separate great athletes from good ones. Her routines are filled with challenging skills, dynamic combinations, and the kind of amplitude that catches the eye of college coaches.

Legg's floor exercise is one of the highlights of her gymnastics. She opens with a double tuck that flies, showcasing impressive power and explosive tumbling. Her ability to generate height and distance allows her to attack difficult skills with confidence while maintaining control. She also competes a front Rudi, adding another element of difficulty and excitement to her routine. Beyond the skills themselves, Legg brings strong presentation and expression to the event, connecting with the choreography and performing with confidence. Her floor routine is a great example of her ability to combine athleticism with artistry. She has also been training upgrades that could make her floor even more competitive, including a 2.5 twist, double pike, and front double full. These upgrades show her continued commitment to pushing her gymnastics forward and increasing her difficulty heading into her final season.

Beam is an event where confidence is everything, and Legg has shown she can handle pressure while competing challenging skills. Her current beam routine features a back handspring-layout stepout series, front toss, and aerial, demonstrating both power and versatility. Her dismount, a back handspring to gainer full, adds another exciting element and showcases her ability to finish the routine with difficulty. Looking ahead, Legg is continuing to upgrade this event by working toward an aerial-back handspring connection, piked front toss, and front aerial. These additions would continue to elevate an already impressive beam routine and give her even more opportunities to showcase her skill level.

Legg currently competes a layout Yurchenko, a vault that highlights her explosiveness and ability to generate power off the table. Her strong block and athletic ability make vault one of the events where she has tremendous potential. She is currently training a Yurchenko full, which would be a major upgrade heading into her senior season. The addition of this vault would further demonstrate her progression and give college coaches another reason to take notice.

On bars, Legg displays strong technical ability and the potential for continued growth. Her routine includes a Maloney-Pak connection, a difficult combination that showcases her ability to connect release and transition skills with confidence. She also competes a 1/2 pirouette and a toe-on front pike dismount, giving her routine a strong combination of difficulty and variety. Her current training upgrades include a Maloney 1/2, toe-on front pike 1/2 dismount, and full-out dismount. These improvements would add another level of difficulty and could make bars a major strength for her as she enters her final year of club gymnastics.

Heading into her senior season, Kendall represents the type of athlete college programs are looking for: talented, driven, coachable, and constantly working to improve. She has already built a strong foundation of difficult skills, but what stands out most is her willingness to continue upgrading and challenging herself. Her combination of power, artistry, competitive experience, and future potential makes her an excellent addition for any college program looking for a gymnast who can contribute across multiple events.

With several exciting upgrades in progress and another season ahead to showcase her abilities, Kendall Legg is an athlete that college coaches should keep on their radar. Her senior season has the potential to be a defining chapter in an already impressive gymnastics career.
