Mia Busser is quickly establishing herself as one of the most exciting young all-around gymnasts in Region 8. The Class of 2028 standout combines explosive power, confident performance quality, and strong technical execution across every event. With a growing list of high-level skills and an impressive collection of upgrades in progress, Busser is an athlete with the tools to continue making a major impact as she develops.

Floor is where Busser's power and personality shine brightest. Her routine features a massive front through to double pike that she makes look effortless, showcasing impressive height and control through one of the most difficult tumbling passes in her lineup. She also competes a front double full and a front layout to Rudi connection, adding both difficulty and variety to her tumbling. Beyond the skills, Busser brings energy and confidence through fun, sassy choreography that allows her personality to come through. Her ability to combine powerful gymnastics with engaging performance quality makes her floor routine one that demands attention.

On bars, Busser showcases strong technique and composure throughout her routine. She features a Ray release move, a bail to handstand, and precise vertical handstands that demonstrate her attention to execution. She finishes with a full pirouette to double tuck dismount, displaying the power and control that carry throughout her gymnastics. Her clean lines and steady rhythm give her a strong foundation as she continues adding difficulty.

Beam is another event where Busser's artistry and precision stand out. Her routine features a back handspring–layout stepout series, a side somi, precise leaps, and a gainer pike dismount. She pays close attention to the details that elevate a beam routine, from her footwork and presentation to the confidence she brings through each skill. Her ability to blend difficult acrobatics with graceful movement makes her beam routine both competitive and visually impressive.

Vault highlights the explosive power that defines Busser's gymnastics. She competes a huge front handspring–front pike that launches off the table with impressive force and amplitude. She confidently handles the blind landing, showcasing excellent air awareness and control. Her vault is a major strength and provides an exciting foundation as she continues working toward even more difficulty.

Busser is also actively pushing her routines to the next level with a strong set of upgrades in progress. On beam, she is working toward a back handspring–layout two foot, a one-arm back handspring–layout stepout, a Barani to split jump connection, and a one-arm back handspring–1.5 dismount. Bars upgrades include a Ray to bail connection and a double layout dismount, while floor development includes a double layout and a front layout to front double full connection. On vault, she is progressing toward a front handspring–pike half, adding even more difficulty to an already powerful event.

What makes Busser such an exciting athlete is her ability to bring something different to every event. She has the power to compete high-level skills, the artistry to create memorable routines, and the confidence to perform with personality. As she continues developing her upgrades, she is a gymnast with the potential to become a major contributor at the next level and one of the standout athletes to follow in Region 8.
