Head Turning Performances from Delaware State Championships

Although the Delaware State Championships featured a smaller Level 10 field, the competition was packed with standout performances, strong all-around showings, and athletes delivering big routines across all four events. The meet was led by a dominant performance from Evynne Bleiler, while several others kept the pressure on with impressive depth in every rotation.    Vault: 9.475 | Bars: 9.05 | Beam: 9.65 | Floor: 9.625 | All-Around: 37.8   Leading the way was Evynne Bleiler, who captured the top all-around score with a 37.8. Bleiler was especially strong on beam and floor, helping separate herself from the field. She opened with a big vault, executing a clean Yurchenko full, followed by an excellent bar set, featuring a Pak salto and a double tuck dismount. On beam, she delivered one of the top routines of the competition with a 9.65, highlighted by a back handspring layout and a side somi. She closed with a strong floor routine, showcasing a 1.5 front full and a double tuck to secure the all-around title.     Vault: 9.5 | Bars: 8.775 | Beam: 9.5 | Floor: 9.55 | All-Around: 37.325   Finishing second was teammate Kendall Murphy with a 37.325 all-around, staying close behind with strong scoring potential across all four events. Murphy opened with a Yurchenko full vault that displayed clean lines and a powerful block off the table. She performed a beautiful floor routine anchored by powerful tumbling including a full-in and double pike. She also delivered a solid beam set, featuring a back handspring layout connection, front aerial, and side aerial. On her bar set, her Maloney to Pak connection stood out as a highlight.     Vault: 9.15 | Bars: 9.35 | Beam: 9.4 | Floor: 8.35 | All-Aorund: 36.25   In third was Giana Carroll with a 36.25 all around, showing consistency across three events. Carroll posted her strongest score on bars, where she connected a Maloney and Pak, displaying a steady rhythm and good form throughout. She added a 9.4 beam, featuring a back handspring back layout series, consistent landings and excellent artistry. Her vault was a powerful Yurchenko full with clean lines and amplitude and height off the table. On floor, she performed an impressive double pike to round out her meet.     Vault: 8.9 | Bars: 9.125 | Beam: 9.325 | Floor: 8.675 | All-Around: 36.025   Rounding out the top group was Josie Monto with a 36.025 all-around, delivering a steady and competitive performance throughout the day. Monto earned a 9.325 on beam, highlighted by a back handspring back layout and front toss, both with steady landings and clean lines. Her bars featured a Pak and a solid double tuck dismount. She added a 9.0 floor routine, featuring a fast twisting like a double full, along with beautiful choreography and presentation. She had a solid Yurchenko layout vault with incredible height and distance from the table.     Floor: 8.75   Principe is a floor specialist known for her strong presence and consistent performance quality on the event. She brings a combination of power and presentation that allows her routines to stand out within her division. Even without seeing her full routine details, her reputation as a dependable and impactful floor worker speaks to her ability to deliver clean, engaging performances when it counts.    Despite its size, the Delaware field delivered a strong showcase of Level 10 talent, with athletes putting together composed and competitive all-around efforts. With postseason competition ahead, these gymnasts will look to build on their momentum as they advance to the next stage of the season.
